Pranay Jain

During the summer of 2021 I interned at Avantor R&D in Bridgewater, NJ. I was a part of the upstream bioprocessing team, where I a variety of protein engineering tasks. I learned how to use the python bindings for pyrosetta and modeled our protein of interest on pyRosetta. I also performed DNA transformation to E.Coli , and fermented the bacteria to manufacture various protein of interests. I also performed titer assays to analyze our workflow and get the yields from our fermentations runs.
